Tournament format and faq's
The below inforamtion is for the basketball 5v5 Social and Elite Slam. Netball Tournament format will vary dependant on number of teams. *Number of games and game length may change on the day due to number of teams and time available.
how many games will we get?
12 teams per tournament (12 Social Sat and 12 Elite Sun).
AM: 2 seeded pools of 6, everyone plays everyone. 12 Min games.
Top 3 teams progress into the cup, bottom 3 teams progress into the plate.
PM: 2 new pools of 6 (Cup & plate) everyone plays everyone. 14 Min games with 1 Min half time. Winner is the team with the best winning record from the day.

The cash prize is for the Elite tournament only and is awarded to the winner with the best record from the Cup compeition.
Don't worry we will have other prizes for the plate and for the Social Saturday tournament.
4 point shot!
Easy money sniper!
We like to bring a twist and something fresh to our tournaments. We will be installing a 4 point logo onto the courts for the tournament. Every shot made from the logo will be worth 4 points.
Additionally to this every 4 point shot made MPA will be making a £5 charitable donation to our charity partner for the event: Make a Wish UK.

which tournament should i enter?
We want to protect the integrity of each tournament. Allowing for each team to compete at their best, playing against well suited opposition.
With this, our Social Saturday tournamnet is designed for mainly team competing at the local league level.
The Sunday Elite tournament is for teams that are playing at the top of their respective local leagues and / or national league teams and higher.
